Riccardo Tozzi – Producer It's a film which lasts twelve weeks even if there's a week gap in it. We moved from the United States to Great Britain, from Rome to Salento, and then we returned to Rome. The film's budget amounts to about six million euros. It obviously has a great casting since it is an “all stars” one, as we say. It therefore seems to me that it is a long-awaited film. The press and public interest also comes from that.
The biggest difficulty concerning the production is to reach a high production value. I would say that this is the most important problem for a producer who behaves like that, that is to say to reach the best quality while keeping a reasonable and compatible price, since it is anyway an economic activity. We must balance it, on one hand we have to find the highest quality and on the other hand keeping a compatible price since otherwise it will never be possible again to make a film of such a level.
