"My character tells of his love story with Carmen... as I was saying before, the character I play is a soldier. A man with a very strong moral fibre and a precise and organised lifestyle. He comes from the Netherlands but lives in Andalusia, and has a brilliant career in the military. He would love to have a family of his own and spend the rest of his life together with a woman and have children by her. He believes in virginity before marriage but then gets involved with Carmen, a woman who turns his world upside down and he keeps trying to recover the values he has lost. He tries to resist the force of attraction that Carmen exerts over him.”
